Dave and the Kenai Fjords Guidebook

Thanks for discovering my KF explorer web site. I think the best way to describe the Kenai Fjords guidebook is to call it a collection of maritime information relative to the Kenai Peninsula outer coast. It includes local stories, legends, photographs, maps and prints. More importantly it's an in depth reference book for exploring the remote 750 nautical mile long coast by boat, kayak or from your lounge chair.
The Kenai Fjords is one of my hobbies. It began when I staked a (OTE) homestead in a wooded cove along the eastern shore of Day Harbor, 40 years ago. The first KF guidebook was published in 1984. Of course, there has been significant changes, both to the KF coast and the guidebook since then.
This latest edition of Exploring Alaska's Kenai Fjords, includes 40 upgraded KF maps, 130 photos along with a raft load of pertinent KF's info, neatly tucked into 320 pages. If you plan to spend any time traveling along the outer coast, or if you're curious about partaking in a maritime adventure, I recommend it as a reference book.
Today, my wife Anne and I live at the Day Harbor homestead as well as in Seward...Dave
